Things aren't always black and white

Sometimes a subject or image screams out to be presented in mono, but that doesn't always mean that it has to be black and white.

The inTone gallery displays all of the photos from mioojo that have been processed in mono and had a tone of some description applied through several different digital techniques.

Sepia tones are always popular for mono images and it can add a subtle warmth in some cases that invites the viewer into the image in a way that pure black and white might not. Other tones can also give a photo a visual edge that might otherwise have been lacking.
